Offbeat musical adventure, both as a DJ and a journalist. Became part of a global news story when during a DJ tour of Russia he outraged the communist party so much they put forward a motion in the Kremlin to have him banned from the country, only for Putin to intervene and throw out the motion. This was all down to a stuffed fox Mike owned becoming a viral internet sensation, which the communists found insulting to the nation of Russia. After the tour ended, Mike’s fox (known as ‘stoned fox’) was taken on a tour by Fatboy Slim and Calvin Harris, and was also used as currency to pay for a DJ gig from Space Dimension Controller. Mike’s memoirs of the fox are the stuff of legend in the DJ community.

He is also a highly respected music journalist who is renowned for taking a different angle with his stories, having interviewed some of the biggest names in the business such as Laurent Garnier, Loco Dice and David Morales.

As a producer, he is best known for his releases on Ibiza’s Secret Life Music which have appeared on Café Mambo and Sheer Rocks compilations and gained airplay from the BBC’s 6Music in the UK.
